06/14/2021: The Township has contracted with KM Construction Corp. to perform improvements to Old Farm Road to include but not limited to an extension of the sanitary sewer system as well as an extension behind some homes fronting Route 202/206, new storm sewers, areas of driveway entrance repair, natural swales, and full depth pavement reconstruction and roadway resurfacing Work zone extents are for the entire roadway length.

construction will be commencing on or about June 21, 2021. All work is expected to be completed by November 19, 2021. Construction will be taking place Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The section of roadway noted above shall be closed to thru traffic and a detour will be provided. Residents located within the roadway improvement work zone shall be provided with driveway access accommodations by the Contractor throughout the duration of construction activities; however, these accommodations will be limited throughout the Contractor’s work day hours. During construction there may be periods of time where slight delays are experienced. As with all construction projects, we urge residents to proceed with caution in areas of construction and to follow all directions of the traffic control directors. The Township and its contractor will make every effort to keep these interruptions to a minimum and complete this project as quickly as possible.

06/08/2021: Crim and Mine Road will be closed between Foothill Road and Washington Valley Road on or about Thursday, June 10th thru Thursday, 17th – weather dependent.

This road closure is required to allow PSE&G to perform roadway repairs related to their recently completed gas main utility upgrade work for these roadways. The entire roadway will be milled and resurfaced curb to curb for all segments impacted by the utility work. The roadways will remain open for local traffic only and a detour will be provided for all through traffic motorists. Residents located within the roadway work zone shall be provided with driveway access accommodations by the Contractor throughout the duration of construction activities, however, these accommodations will be limited throughout the Contractor’s work day hours. 

Construction will be during the hours of 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. During construction there may be periods of time where slight delays are experienced. As with all construction projects, we urge residents to proceed with caution within areas of construction and to follow all directions of the traffic control directors. PSE&G and their paving Contractor, Sanzari Construction, will make every effort to keep interruptions to a minimum and complete this project as quickly as possible. Residents on all side streets to Crim and Mine Road are encouraged to avoid the work zone area where possible.
